Akeldama

After Judas Iscariot betrayed Christ, he threw the blood money back at the high priests and hanged himself in the Potter's Field, also called Akeldama in Aramaic, or "Field of Blood." Tradition says the high priests used those thirty silver pieces to buy that very field in Jerusalem, which they turned into a cemetery for foreigners. To this day, the field is dotted with burial caves and hides in the shadows of a small monastery.
